Climate Change Bills

New Climate Changing bill was proposed by Sens. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., and John Kerry, D-Mass.

I am getting very tired of the insane climate bills being proposed. When are we going to take a stand to our government? I do not agree with paying a tax to the government on any type of over use or poor regulation of anything. Our government cannot handle the money they are being given currently, yet they proceed to assume they have everything under control.

The bill is suggesting 7,500 companies will be required to meet emission targets. They claim their aim is to reduce carbon emissions, but I don't see this as the case. When these companies are unable to meet emission targets, the US government will tax them and this tax will be forced on us. Moreover, who will be running this project? The EPA? The government needs to get a handle on the current programs they have running before starting new ones.

What about the EPA? This branch of the government has zero accountability and reports to NO ONE. How is this possible in our current checks and balances system? WE implemented checks and balances to stop this kind of problem from happening, yet the government deems it worth to be free from this system? When are the unchecked shenanigans going to be accounted for? What do you think of this Problem?

I definitely agree current programs need to be analyzed and refined before initiating new ones. The government is spreading itself so thin that it cannot properly regulate itself and that is why we are in today's economic crisis. If they would analyze their welfare and unemployment systems they could recover millions to those sucking off the teet of hardworking American citizens.
