Is the President Listening?

Please listen to New Yorkers, Mr. President

I don't see any actions from our president that suggest he is listening at all. This opinion post from the the Buffalo News, is suggesting he listens to us at all. Don't get me wrong, I agree with the man when he is suggesting the president needs to listen to the people. However, President Obama is to listening as Congress is to making decisions; it happens every once in awhile and it usually isn't what the people want.

The article goes on to say, our President needs to confront China about their intentional manipulation of currency. Which is keeping it below the US and intentionally bringing them more money. Shouldn't we worry about our OWN spending and manipulation of currency? It would be nice to control the world and how they conduct business; however, we are having major troubles fixing our own problems.

It is a great article and it has some fun points, but I see the problem in our country. The Free Market will work if we give it a chance; moreover, we need to lower laws on the businesses and allow them to create the jobs. What do you think about this? I know we have problems everywhere but we should fix the ones closest to home first.

That is a great article. Just think, if the President and Congress actually did their job and listened to the people, and voted accordingly. We wouldn't need bills that are 2074 pages like the health care bill, because they wouldn't need to hide or piggyback anything, but just be honest. I just feel that the Congress and President are disconnected and so far out of touch that they have their own agenda. Hopefully we can vote in some representatives who will listen and help fix America, because truly I don't think they are listening.
