Che Guevara

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am getting really sick of seeing this socialist piece of **** on American clothing. He was a horrible person and did not support anything the American people stand for.

Che Guevara was a murdering Stalinist, with an ego the size of Texas. Che is hailed as a visionary in the eyes of Rock-stars, Movie-stars, and people around the world. They see him as a freedom fighter, fighting for the lives of his country and unfortunate victims around the world. He is highly respected in the gay community, and progressives around the country quote his words. What would Che have said to his American followers?

Guevara is personally responsible for 180 documented cases of murder, documented with multiple eye witnesses. How many total cases this mass-murder is accountable for, remains in question; humanitarian? (Please note, this list does not include victims of war) The victims were put to death, because they didn't agree with the political Stalinist view of Che Guevara. Che saw his revolution so necessary, it meant overseeing the murder of 20 million of his own people. Who was this "freedom fighter" fighting for?

To the followers of Che Guevara. Che was an extreme supporter of Cuba's 1960's censorship ideals. The Castrist regime forced Stalinist opinions to the televisions and radios, and forced most musicians out of the country. Che openly bashed, jailed, and murdered homosexuals. Moreover, he said this, "I have no house, wife, children, parents, or brothers; my friends are friends as long as they think like me, politically." He would not agree with any of you; He would fight to silence you.

Pass this message to those around you who support this Stalinist mass-murder blindly. He is not a person worthy of our praise. Moreover, Che Guevara isn't worthy to be pictured on our toiletries. He stood for death and repression and spoke words of hate. Americans stand for freedom and liberty, and we are blessed with freedom of speech.

While it appears you have done your research quite thoroughly on the one view, is it not possible that there is some good that came from this murderous psychotic nincompoop? Afterall, many of the medical breakthroughs we have today came as a result of the barborous treatment of the Jews in the holocaust and the studies the nazis performed on them. While it was reprehensible, there was some small amount of good arising from them. And while the war itself was a terrible tradgedy it pulled the American people out of a depression through grit, patriotism, and hard work. I believe that you are correct in your opinion, but why not find out why people put his picture on the clothing? What did he do to be remembered so positively in so many minds? Surely some good can be found in all people. Even Darth Vader had friends.

I admit some good MAY have come from Che Guevera, but I doubt it. My main point is not to point out the revolution of Cuba was a horrific time and many horrific acts of violence where done. It is to point out, some Americans are blindly following a murdering Stalinist, who hated everything America stands for. (side note; Darth Vader killed all his friends)
